Chris Craft Paragon Transmission Rebuild

Scott gets the help of Jimmy Grant of Grant's Wooden Boat Works in Georgia to modify the gear reduction transmission taken off of the 1961 Chris Craft flywheel forward 283 Chevy engine. The transmission is rebuilt and the end result is a Paragon model 25XE with a 1:1 ratio. This will be used in Scott's upcoming build of a 1930's single step hydroplane designed by A A Apel of Ventnor Boats fame. Jim is very helpful in explaining how this type of transmission works and how to adjust it as he walks me through rebuilding and modifying it.
