Why DIY when the battery is so cheap?
Got this 12V 280 Ah LiFePo4 on sale for $337.
I was able to connect the Ecoworthy to my Xiaoxiang BMS app. Connected this way allows you to change the charging parameters of the battery.
The max charge current is 160A and BMS is rated for 200A discharge. Use a suitable fuse as the peak discharge current is 850A. Low voltage disconnect is at 10V. Although there is a suggestion you can charge it below 0 degrees centigrade, this is only for discharge. There is a card inside the shipping box that says, “charge 0-65C
Discharge -20-55C”.
