The album presents Hemanta Mukherjee's 6 basic songs, the lyrics of which are composed by great Pulak Bandyopadhyay and which are tuned by other music composers (Other than Hemanta Mukherjee himself). Ratu Mukhopadhyay (songs 1&2), Abhijit Bandyopadhyay (songs 3&4), Asima Bhattacharya (song 5) and V.Valsara (song 6) are the music composers here.
N.B.-The first two songs i.e. 'Banatal fule fule' and 'Ki dekhi paina' were actually composed by Pulak Bandyopadhyay. But the records were published under the pseudonym 'Priyabrata'.
