In this video that was definitely edited and published shortly after I filmed it, we are replacing the rear shocks and springs of our CR-Z with Tein Street Basis Z coilovers.
This is a basic guide on how to remove and replace the rear suspension parts - make sure to always follow the included directions if you purchase aftermarket parts as the hardware, installation tools, and steps may vary! It's also a good idea to check over your factory hardware and rubber components before starting so that you can buy new OEM parts to supplement the swap if needed.
We ordered new bolts, nuts, and washers and installed this Tein kit on the lowest possible setting - with new wheels and tires, this totally changes the look and feel of driving the CR-Z!
