Yeh kahani Hamid ki hai — ek sachay aur shareef tajir, jo purane Baghdad ki galiyon mein apni imaandari aur Allah ke khauf ke liye mashhoor tha. Ek din ek ameer musafir ghalti se usay zyada sona de gaya. Hamid ne wo amaanat sirf Allah ki raza ke liye wapas ki — bina kisi lalach ke, bina kisi show ke.

Uske is sachay amal ne musafir ke dil ko yun chhoo liya ke us ne Islam qabool kar liya.
