For more than 30 years, Zhen Chunhui from southeast China's Fujian Province has dedicated himself to the art of Putian woodcarving. For him, this is an art that's so much more than simply crafting wood. In his hands, it becomes the living embodiment of Chinese tradition, each knife-cut imbuing his works with Chinese classical poetry and the beauty of the landscape of the country he loves.
