ONE DAY IN LUGANO | Must Visit Town in Switzerland (Funicular to Monte Bré)

Lugano is the largest town in Switzerland’s southern Ticino region and on every single list of “must visit towns in Switzerland”. Sadly, we only had one day (4-5 hours really) to explore this beautiful city, so we had to be selective how we used our time.

In this video, we share how you can spend one day in Lugano, including walking around downtown while taking in the gorgeous architecture, witnessing beautiful mountain viewpoints from Lake Lugano, then taking two funiculars to reach the top of Monte Bré for breathtaking views overlooking the city and Swiss Alps. You truly feel on top of the world! Lugano is so amazing with SO much to do and see, we know with 100% certainty we would stay a week next time we visit Lugano.
