Trieste tram had a crash in August 2016. I was reopened again in February 2025. Tram line 2 is the only tram line in Trieste. It connects Opicina and Trieste. On this line run only special original oldtimer trams who are on the part of tram route like funicular. That's why this tram is called hybrid tram. The part of tram line goes up / down and it uses special tramcar for extra power for pushing up to the hill or going down to make the tram goes slow.
