Performance Analysis of Pmipv6 and Fpmipv6 In Software Defined Networks
Scenario 1: Using PMIPv6 protocol:
***********************************
Step 1: Initially, we will construct an SDN enabled network with 50 Mobile nodes, 3 switches and 1 controller.
Step 2: Next, we will implement the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) protocol to manage mobility.
Step 3: Next, we simulate and collect network data such as timestamp, flow ID, src/dst IP, packet size, packets/sec, send/receive times, delay and throughput.
Step 4: Finally, we plot and analyze the following performance metrics:
4.1: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Latency (ms)
4.2: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Packet Loss Ratio (%)
4.3: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Packet Delivery Ratio (%)
4.4: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Throughput (mbps)
Scenario 2: Using FPMIPv6 protocol:
***********************************
Step 1: Initially, we will construct an SDN enabled network with 50 Mobile nodes, 3 switches and 1 controller.
Step 2: Next, we will implement the Fast Proxy Mobile IPV6 (FPMIPv6) protocol to manage mobility.
Step 3: Next, we simulate and collect network data such as timestamp, flow ID, src/dst IP, packet size, packets/sec, send/receive times, delay and throughput.
Step 4: Finally, we plot and analyze the following performance metrics:
4.1: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Latency (ms)
4.2: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Packet Loss Ratio (%)
4.3: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Packet Delivery Ratio (%)
4.4: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Throughput (mbps)
Scenario 3: Using SDN-PMIPv6 protocol:
**************************************
Step 1: Initially, we will construct an SDN enabled network with 50 Mobile nodes, 3 switches and 1 controller.
Step 2: Next, we will implement the SDN-Proxy Mobile IPv6 (SDN-PMIPv6) protocol to manage mobility.
Step 3: Next, we simulate and collect network data such as timestamp, flow ID, src/dst IP, packet size, packets/sec, send/receive times, delay and throughput.
Step 4: Finally, we plot and analyze the following performance metrics:
4.1: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Latency (ms)
4.2: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Packet Loss Ratio (%)
4.3: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Packet Delivery Ratio (%)
4.4: Number of Mobile Nodes vs Throughput (mbps)
Software Requirements:
***********************
1. Development Tool: OMNeT++ 6.0.1 with INET Framework
2. Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) or above

1) If the proposed plan does not fully align with your requirements, please provide all necessary details—including steps, parameters, models, and expected outcomes—in advance. Kindly ensure that any missing configurations or specifications are clearly outlined in the plan before confirming.
2) If there's no built-in solution for what the project needs, we can always turn to reference models, customize our own, different math models or write the code ourselves to fulfil the process.
3) If the plan satisfies your requirement, Please confirm with us.
4) Project based on Simulation only.
