Customizing butcher block countertop! | Countertop too short SOLUTION

The butcher block countertop we bought was too short to be able to fit on top of the unfinished home depot cabinets we used for our kitchen peninsula. Elvis took backsplash panels for the butcher block counters that are sold seperately and cut them into strips to create a border around the chevron butcher block. That gave us the perfect length to fit the countertop ok top of the cabinets!
