「尻羽（しりぱ）」という地名は、アイヌ語に由来するとされ、
「sir（山）」＋「pa（頭・先端）」＝“山の突き出た先”
という意味があると言われています。
古くから漁業の目印や航路のランドマークとしても重要な場所でした。
動画タイトル後に現れる猛禽類はハヤブサ、後半に出てくる野鳥はオオワシです。

The name “Shiripa” is believed to originate from the Ainu language, combining sir (mountain) and pa (head or tip), meaning “the protruding tip of a mountain.”
Since ancient times, it has served as an important landmark for fishermen and coastal navigation.
The bird of prey that appears after the title in the video is a peregrine falcon, and the wild bird seen in the latter half is a Steller’s sea eagle.
