Gilding Waxes are great for that little extra touch on your piece, but that touch doesn't always have to be so little. We gilded over Annie Sloan's Graphite and used our Antiquing Powder to age the gilded look.

Step 1: Mix brass, florentine, and silver gilding waxes
Step 2: Take brush with mineral spirits and mix gilding waxes into paintable consistency
Step 3: Brush on surface after paint and wax
Step 4: While wax is still wet, sprinkle antiquing powder onto the surface
Step 5: Use soft brush to press antiquing powder into crevices
Step 6: Wipe off areas where you want the gilding to be more prominent
Step 7: Paint small amounts of gilding to bring highlights out for the finishing touch
