Video Recorded March 10, 2025: Since I don’t have anything related for April Fools Day, I think I might do something totally different this time upon seeing the video of these amazing and intensively fast Otis Elevonic 401 elevators! That’s right: Something tells me this is what I call “401 Day“, as to kick off the first day of April of everyone’s favorite Otis Elevonic 401 elevator. Not only that, but also my birthday is in another week as well. These are officially now 40 years old, and they still run like a heavenly charm! Pardon me for taking so many rides on these elevators, but this deserves to be a much more detailed take. The view is absolutely breathtaking! Especially the view out the window facing east (the adjacent set of elevators). I was vaguely informed that these elevators are gonna be modernized, but I now question when. And also as of now, the entrance doors on the first floor leading directly to these elevators are locked with a ticket reader, so you would have to go inside Bank Of America Plaza down through the tunnel to access them, and it would have to be on a weekday as well. Installed in 1985.
