How to Make a DIY Soldering Station using Arduino Nano
In this video, I’ll show you how to design a custom soldering station step-by-step! Using readily available components like an Arduino Nano, a 16x2 LCD with an I2C module, an LM358, an MP1684 module, and a D4184 module, I’ve built this functional and efficient soldering station on a prototype board.
The setup connects to a 24V 5A power source and integrates a KADA soldering iron along with a 10k potentiometer for precise temperature control. Here’s how it works:
1. The 10k potentiometer lets you set the desired temperature (preset temperature).
2. The Arduino Nano and LM358 measure the actual temperature of the soldering iron.
3. The LCD displays both the actual and preset temperature in real time for easy monitoring.
Whether you're a hobbyist or a professional, this project is a great way to upgrade your soldering game! Watch the full video to learn the circuit design, soldering techniques, and assembly process.
