We are grazing cows on cover crops following a Winter Rye harvest. The base of the cover crop mix is Winter Cereal Rye, Oats, Radish, and Turnips. These are all Shorthorn Cows from our own operation where we are helping another farm to increase biological activity on their cover crops.
