Un-edited YWAM Koha crossing between New Zealand and Fiji

The good ship YWAM Koha brought me safely across the ocean from Tauranga in New Zealand to Suva in Fiji. She is an interesting vessel:

In 1968, the Konrad Meisel ship was built as a buoy tender in Germany, then went on to South Africa and was renamed the Isibane, then onto New Zealand where it served as a cargo and passenger service to Pitcairn Island under the name Claymore II. In 2019 however, the owner of the ship was looking to sell it, but decided to give it as a free gift to YWAM Ships Aotearoa. As such she is now providing dental hygiene to the population of isolated islands in Fiji.

And a bit of bonus info: the good ship can also be found in the Hollywood action film “The Meg” which features Jason Statham. Yes, the action hero has also been onboard.

The crossing took seven days.
