There is only one lane to drop off your child in the morning. No more driving lane, cutting cars, double parking, triple lane passing, and all others poor and dangerous driving tactics in our drive. Parents are expected to stay in their car as students exit the car quickly to walk into the building. Ropes will be used to help you follow the directions for our U-drive. Busses will need to be given priority to enter - we only have two. Good idea provided to our PTA from "Safe Routes to School" is if your child is in 1st grade, park a block away to have them walk (probably on Elaine Street). If your child is a 2nd grader, park 2 blocks away; third grader, 3 blocks and so on. We need YOU, our parents, to model safety and DRIVE SAFELY every day in and around our school. We encourage you to be the models your child needs to see following the rules.
