How to Use Botanicals in a Gel Print

You don’t need expensive supplies to make beautiful gel prints! I found some weeds and grasses in my urban neighborhood and turned them into a beautiful gel print. In this video I explain what to look for while you’re out there “weed hunting”, because it’s the shape and proportion of the grass or weeds that makes for a nice composition. You’ll also learn some tricks about how to get a lot of details from the plant material onto the gel plate.
