मुंबई माटुंगा The Legendary CAFE MADRAS since 1940 serves one of best South Indian Food in Mumbai

Cafe Madras, another institution on Bhaudaji Road serves authentic South Indian food in Matunga. The aroma of filter coffee can be felt even outside the eatery. Inside, it is always full with enthusiastic locals who have come down to devour their favourite dish and even those who have come a long way just to enjoy their favourite food filled with nostalgia. We tried a lot of authentic South Indian dishes which had their own taste and flavour. Paan Poli is a rare dish to be found in restaurants, one that came enwrapped in a banana leaf and was a sweet made of rice, banana, jackfruit and jaggery.
