Many ask why we teach "women's" basic carpentry classes (and yes, we teach the same skills to everyone in our Adult Beginner Carpentry workshop)... for over a decade we have refined our Women's Basic Carpentry workshop curriculum with amazing instructors (many of whom are women carpenters) and plenty of student feedback. We find women really thrive in this learning environment, and we encourage you to give it try--even if it seems like it wouldn't make a difference... you might be delighted with the experience.
