Achieved a score of 1,044,296 (1,040,346 with the TS0 scoring bug removed) (see below for discrepancy).
Run achieved 5/13/25, during the early access of Tetra eSports.
This was the highest score on the leaderboard when it was achieved.
An update to the game on 11/16/2025 has changed the scoring calculation for leveling up as well as fixing the TS0 scoring bug. The actual score this run would be worth with both fixes is obsolete given that I have beaten it since, so I won't be calculating it further.
Original Description:
During early access, Soft Drop points did not show up in replays via a glitch, so the final score in the replay doesn't match the leaderboard. However, the leaderboard/PB score is the actual real score as it was calculated during the actual game when it was played, as the developer Mine has confirmed.
However, after the game's public release, I would discover a glitch with the way the game calculates the score for T-Spins that clear zero lines after BtB is maintained by a previous clear, which in hindsight was also present during early access. Hence the true score is 1,040,346, which doesn't match the leaderboard or the replay. If this calculation is incorrect, please let me know.
I was waiting for the public release of the game to upload this. This recording is from 5/13/25, and uses the game's built in replay system as I was not manually recording when I played it.
Endurance is equivalent to Marathon, aside from no adjustable gravity/multiplier. Unlike TE:C Marathon or other Tetris games, Tetra eSports calculates line clears that reach a new level as using the new level's multiplier. This means that scores cannot directly be compared across Tetris games. To challenge myself, I was trying to "beat" Nilgiri306's Marathon game in TGM4, and I had to calculate that score manually with this new scoring system to confirm I beat it. In hindsight, I never beat it due to the scoring bug giving me a false impression of my score, but I was able to beat it later after the game publicly released.
Unless more starting gravity/level options are added, I don't see myself coming back to Endurance. I don't particularly like that Level 1 starts make what happens later in the game worth significantly more than what happens at any other point.
