William Bennett Ninnis (c. 1833-1902) was a Cornish composer of Christmas carol tunes. Four works attributed to him appear in R. H. Heath's two volumes of Cornish Carols. From his obituary: “W.B Ninnis was a Freemason, being a member of the Plymouth St. John's Lodge. He also took considerable interest in the friendly societies, and was secretary for many years. He had great musical ability, and composed several Christmas carol and hymn tunes. He was a consistent Liberal.”
