स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांच्या निवडणुकांच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेच्या वतीने आज गोरेगाव (पूर्व) येथील नेस्को सेंटरमध्ये मतदारयादी प्रमुखांचा मेळावा आयोजित करण्यात आला आहे. मनसे अध्यक्ष राज ठाकरे यावेळी मार्गदर्शन करणार आहेत. राज्यात होणाऱ्या स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांच्या निवडणुकांची सर्वच राजकीय पक्षांनी जोरदार तयारी केली आहे, पण सध्या मतदारयादीतील घोळाचा प्रश्न ऐरणीवर आला आहे. मतदारयाद्या दुरुस्त करा, मगच निवडणुका घ्या. पाच वर्षे निवडणुका घेतल्या नाहीत. अजून सहा महिने निवडणुका घेऊ नका, अशी सूचना राज ठाकरे यांनी केली होती. या सर्व पार्श्वभूमीवर राज ठाकरे यांनी पक्षाच्या मतदारयादी प्रमुखांची बैठक बोलावली आहे. मतदारयाद्यांमधील घोळाबाबत मनसेची पुढील भूमिका या मेळाव्याच्या माध्यमातून स्पष्ट होण्याचीही शक्यता आहे. त्यामुळे सर्वच राजकीय पक्षांचे या मेळाव्याकडे लक्ष लागले आहे.
