This episode can be the last one in Enemies and AI series. In it I review practical implementations for concepts I talked in the previous video: effective two layer state machine that is piloted by non-descrete decision centre.
Overall results are nice, the project definitely achieves the main goal of building and showcasing a viable technology. We certainly use Godot to create AIs of enormous awareness and intelligence level for our bots, mirror duels, offline player surrogates, player-sized bosses etc. But at what cost?...
