IDPA 6/21/2025 at M160

Local IDPA match at M160, weather was hot and humid but we had alot of cloud cover and a good south breeze to make it not as bad. Got about three more months of this crap...ugh! I had one really good stage, 2 pretty good stages, one so-so stage, and two bad stages. LOL. At :17 the freaking mag came out, very embarrassing, lost about 3 seconds there. I tried a different mag placement. I guess I need to stick with what I know or practice the hell out of it at home! At 1:05 lost round count, caught me off guard and lost a little time there. The 3rd (stage 5) stage was wacky, it got alot of people. I had a miss on one of those headshots on the right side. That miss hurt. At 1:56 I had a 3 zone hit so I made it up but got confused on the remaining round count which let to an unnecessary reload at 2:01. Again, lost some time. I should have ran it empty. The end of the last stage is really bothering me. I got so focused on make up shots on the swinger I didn't even bother to look at the other target at the end. I had six down on that stage, four on that target. I could have made up those 4 with the last 2 shots. I think the swinger was 1 down before shooting it again. I'll remember that next time.
Good news is zero double feeds/malfunctions with the Federal 115gr ammo. I'll use it again next weekend to "confirm" it was the ammo all along. Bad news is I got alot of ammo that does not work well with my pistol.
