Basics
Straighten your legs to go forward and bend your legs to go backwards. To generate more forward momentum, bring your arms toward your shoulders. To generate more backwards momentum, bring your arms away from your shoulders.
Common mistakes:
Arms and legs generating the opposite inputs which leads to confusion.
Keys to success:
Use legs first to dictate forward or backwards movement then add arm movements to increase forward or backwards momentum.
