Trains around Hauts-de-France | 19th September 2025

On the 19th of September I had arrived in Brussels on the sleeper from Dresden, and needed to get to Paris. Rather than get a Eurostar, I thought I'd go the slow way, and get some footage as I went. This video contains shots from three stations in the Hauts-de-France region, Aulnoye Aymeries, Orry-la-Ville and Creil, Firstly, Lineas HLE 13 number 1335 passes Aulnoye with a rake of Tereos (foodstuffs) tanks bound for their Nesle plant, and HLE 18 number 1868 arrives and departs with the Ouigo Brussels to Paris service. At Orry-la-Ville, the main purpose was to get on TER service 848527, which was one of the last few services in general operated with a BB15000. These were built by Alstom and MTE between 1971 and 1978, and after their withdrawal date was pushed further and further back, it seems the December timetable change has finally brought their end; so I wanted to ride one a final time. I took it one stop to Creil station, where I filmed it depart, and had a shock when former UK-based 66202 and 66239 came flying through with the Danone (Evian) bottled water train, specifically the empties returning from Daventry via the Channel Tunnel.
