How to get to Namotu Island

Fiji might feel like a world away but getting there is really easy.

We’re flying to Fiji on Fiji Airways from LAX. This flight departs Thursday night and lands in Nadi early Sunday morning. After clearing customs, we’re picked up out front by Namotu’s driver who sends our luggage direct to Namotu. As check in isn’t till 11:30am, we’ve got a couple of hours to relax and have breakfast at one of the hotels before heading to Namotu by boat.
The standard transfer departs from the Marriott, about 45minutes drive south of the Airport and from there it’s a 25minutes in a longboat to Namotu.

Today we’ve booked Namotu’s premium charter boat, the Cobalt (https://www.namotuislandfiji.com/the-...) direct from Denarau. We’ll have breakfast in Denarau, then, when it’s time, we’ll be picked up again and dropped off at the Marina a couple of minutes away. It’s about a 45minute boat ride to Namotu so we’ll arrive at 11:30am for check in and meet the other guests.

The Cobalt is a 32ft World Cat and seats up to 13 passengers. This transfer option is an extra but there’s a special rate for in-house guests. Bookings are essential.
