Tuning: whole step down every string (DGCFAD)
Except I did something goofy with the low string and pulled it up a 1/2 step so I could play that low note open on the second chord. Made more sense to me, but I’m a goof, so grain of salt with that. I learned how to play it from a YouTube dude with a tutorial. Better let him show you probably lol
Thanks for listening. I’ve loved this song since my early teens and I always assumed it was going to be more complicated to play than it turned out to be.
A line I hadn’t really thought about until singing it myself was: “I’ll keep the things you forgot.” And I’m devastated by that now. It brings to mind those moments where you find something in your home a former loved one left there, and you just tuck it away a drawer forever
