Kudani is a rhythm that Mamady Keïta created for his maternal grandmother. Although he'd never met her before, but he always thought of her fondly.
When he was young, his mother always tells him that if his grandmother was around, she would dote on him very much. So Mamady always had this feeling that his grandmother was always around. Thus he created this rhythm for her.
