การส่งเสริมการแปรรูปและเตาอบไม้แบบต้นทุนต่ำสำหรับธุรกิจ SME

ปัจจุบันไม้สักมีการนำมาใช้ประโยชน์มาจากสวนสักปลูกแทบทั้งสิ้น อย่างในชุมชน ธุรกิจ SME เช่น ในจังหวัดแพร่ พะเยา น่าน จะมีการนำไม้สัก แปรรูปไปใช้ในการทำเฟอร์นิเจอร์, ประตู, หน้าต่าง ฯลฯ โดยใช้เทคนิคในการแปรรูปที่ไม่ถูกต้อง รวมทั้งไม่ได้ ผ่านการอบไม้ ทำให้ไม้เกิดการโก่ง บิด งอ แตก เป็นตำหนิ จึงทำให้ได้รับการเคลมจากลูกค้า หรือต้องขายในราคาถูก แต่ถ้าไม้ที่ผ่านการอบที่ถูกต้องก็จะสามารถแก้ปัญหาดังกล่าวได้ อย่างเตาอบไม้ระบบบอยเลอร์ ซึ่งมีราคาแพงมากกว่า 1.5 ล้านบาท ทำให้ชุมชนผู้ประกอบการไม้ไม่สามารถดำเนินการได้ รศ.ทรงกลด จารุสมบัติ และทีมผู้วิจัย ได้ดำเนินการสร้างเตาอบไม้ต้นแบบระบบแลกเปลี่ยนความร้อนโดยตรง (Direct Heat Exchange) ควบคุมอุณหภูมิและความชื้นสัมพัทธ์ ด้วยระบบควบคุมแบบกึ่งอัตโนมัติ (Semi - automation) ควบคุมความเร็วลมในห้องอบตามหลัก Air flow สามารถอบไม้ได้ครั้งละประมาณ 500 –700 ลูกบาศก์ฟุต อบไม้สักแปรรูปที่ความหนา 25 มิลลิเมตร ให้เหลือความชื้น 12 % ใช้ระยะเวลา 9 วัน สอบถามข้อมูลได้ที่ ภาควิชาวนผลิตภัณฑ์ คณะวนศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ โทร. 08-1914-0575

Promoting transfiguration and low-cost wood steamer for SME
Nowadays, the teak wood that we normally use is from teak plantations. In some communities like Phrae, Phayao, and Nan provinces, local SMEs use teak wood to make furniture, doors, windows, etc. However, they used inappropriate configuration techniques, which not pass drying process led to cup, bow, twist and defecting of the wood. The product is often claimed by customers or sold at very low prices. If the wood is pass drying process these problems will be solved. Kiln dry wood use Boiler costs over 1.5 million baht, which is unaffordable for the local SMEs. Assoc. Prof. Songklod Jarusombuti and the research team created a Kiln dry wood model with a direct heat exchange system. The temperature and relative humidity are controlled by a semi-automation system. The wind speed is controlled according to the airflow. It can drying wood of 500-700 cubic feet at a time and drying teak wood of 25 millimeters thickness until the moisture content lowers to 12% within 9 days.
