How I sculpted a Spitfire mk IX from an 18mm piece of pine. A few years ago I made a Hawker Hurricane hanger board for my dad to hang his keys on. At the same time I drew the Hurricane I drew a Spitfire. Thinking the wood got lost or burned it never got made and then last week I found the piece of wood with the drawing still on it and so I decided to finish what I started…… here’s how it’s looking so far.
