Dance along with the Bel Air Community Band as we present our virtual performance of Fandango! This energetic traditional Spanish dance is a whirl of colors and melodies, with a characteristic rhythm accompaniment provided by castanets and maracas. The energy of the melody passing around between sections is interrupted only by a beautifully serene interlude, before launching again into the final Presto section.
The Bel Air Community Band performs under the musical direction of C. Scott Sharnetzka, and is directed here by Assistant Director Alex Scott.
Frank Perkins' delightful music was arranged for band by Floyd E. Werle.
Joseph Nalley produced the audio and visual material for the BACB's first ever virtual performance. Bravo! What a way to get started!
