Baby Orangutan Tries To Fight Dad And Instantly Regrets It !

Epic Son and Dad Orangutan Fight In this Male showdown between father and son !
Little Arga is well known for his mischievous behaviour and pranks on his family members, he particularity loves to annoy and provoke his dad Puluh !
In this video he persistently swings around and above him , trying to get his attention , and get him to fight! After several attempts at provocation , and even pulling dads long locks of hair , Dad Puluh has simply had enough ! and grabs his Son in a show of disciplinary force ! and dad won't let go !
Arga wriggles and pulls , trying to escape dads grasp from his enormous hands - which are about the size of Arga's head and body !
Eventually Arga wriggles free , and even he has learned his lesson - not to push dad too far !!
Dad Puluh is a gentle giant, and Arga knows if he teases dad, he may react !
In this case he absolutely did react to his little sons teasing !
This is rough boys play but is great training for when Arga becomes as big as his impressive father !
Arga has been engaged in this type of play with dad for years since he was very young and becoming more independent from mom Subis

Sumatran Orangutans are an endangered species of Great Ape, threatened to the edge of extinction, due to the ongoing destruction of the Environment in their native homeland of The Indonesian Island of Sumatra. The destruction of their native forests is largely to make way for the planting of palm oil, which is used in the manufacture of many products in developed nations, such as food products and cleaning products.

Chester Zoo is the only Zoo in the UK to House and Care for Sumatran Orangutans. They are part of the breeding program for this important and vulnerable species, ensuring there is a strong genic population in zoos and wildlife centres across the world, essential for the future survival of these magnificent animals.
These rare Sumatran Baby Orangutans are absolutely adorable and so much fun to watch, Young Sumatran Orangutans interact with each other and learn from the behaviours of other Orangutans in their Family group.
