🚨 SIM UPDATE 2 IS HERE and it’s a game-changer! I put Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s SU2 through its paces in 4K Ultra, and the performance boost is honestly unbelievable. Here’s what you’ll see in this review and test:

Insane FPS Gains: On my system, I’m seeing nearly DOUBLE the frame rate in demanding scenarios compared to previous builds—smoothness I didn’t think was possible in MSFS.

New Tech in Action: AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation is now an option, letting you push even higher frame rates if your hardware can handle it. (Heads up: only enable frame gen if your base FPS is already high—otherwise, it can feel weird or even tank performance for lower-end setups.) Both AMD and Nvidia users can now use frame gen natively in MSFS 2024.

CPU & VR Optimization: SU2 leverages multicore CPUs better than ever, and VR users are reporting big improvements, especially with foveated rendering and new support for head tracking devices.

Visual & Aircraft Fixes: Tons of bug fixes, smoother loading, improved snow, grass, and LOD blending, plus aircraft-specific updates like better lighting on the 737 MAX and cockpit improvements for the AT-802 and others.
