Time-Lapse Views of 4-H at 2023 Lancaster County Super Fair

In 2023, nearly 500 4-H/FFA exhibitors entered 4,880 exhibits at the Lancaster County Super Fair (including static exhibits and animal entries). Numerous volunteers help make 4-H & FFA at the fair possible! Time-lapse views in this video includes:

• 4-H STATIC EXHIBIT JUDGING DAY AND INTERVIEW JUDGING: The Super Fair features the largest county 4-H static exhibit display in Nebraska. During interview judging, youth discuss their projects with a judge.

• 4-H POULTRY SHOW: This show continues to see increased numbers of exhibitors and birds as backyard poultry becomes increasingly popular.

• 4-H/FFA BEEF SHOW: showcasing Nebraska’s largest sector of agriculture — beef production. In the showmanship classes, 4-H’ers are judged on their ability to handle and present their beef cattle. In the breeding classes, animals are evaluated on their conformation (skeletal and muscular structures) desirable for their breed.

• 4-H WESTERN HORSE SHOW 3 (BAREBACK, PLEASURE AND HORSEMANSHIP CLASSES): Lancaster County has the largest 4-H county fair horse show in the state, with 41 events spanning five days.
