Hyundai Eon Brake lights not working - Step by step troubleshooting-brake pedal switch found faulty

There could be four things wrong when it comes to brake lamps or the stop lamps not working.

The first and the most obvious is that the stop lamp bulbs are not working or are faulty.

The second could be that the fuse of the stop lamp is blown in the fuse box of the car.

Or it could be that the brake switch which controls the lamps when the brake pedal is depressed, is faulty or not working.

The fourth would be that the wiring is faulty somewhere.

We go step by step in this video and see that the fuse is Okay, the brake lamps are ok and we identify that the brake switch is faulty.

Please pardon the abrupt ending of the video. I replaced the brake switch which I found to be faulty as above and everything worked perfectly.
