This is a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback (ED6) that my son and I bought back in late October of 2024, in Stockton, California. The car was finally shipped to us and we received it on Nov. 3, 2024. Since Ocean has been in my garage, I have spent countless hours working on it. My son has been part of this journey whenever he gets the chance. When I first started inspecting the car, it became apparent that the car was on it's last leg. The 4 spd transmission had barely in drop of oil in it, since it all leaked out. The suspension (front & rear) was at it's last breaking point. The engine is ok, although it burns oil... it still pulls strong; however I still need to do a compression test. Then again, the D15B1 isn't permanent.
In this video, it'll show what's been done to it. A lot of time, money and effort to get this car road/track ready.
I wouldn't have made it this far without some help from my friends and families.
I want to give a big thank you to:
Moje, for painting my rollbar for me. He's a great friend and did a fabulous job on the rollbar.
Vue, for helping me install the 5 speed transmission. He's a great nephew and whenever I need some muscle, he's the guy!
Toua, for welding my test pipe for me. He's a great friend who has helped me with all sorts of welding whenever I need it.
Landis, for being my little shadow and keeping me company. He's a great son!
lastly, my wife. She has been very supportive of my hobby and has been by my side through out all my project car years.
