Rebuild of one of the last Mini models which originally went down the production line in October 2000. This is a Mini Cooper Sport 500 model and as the name suggests this end of production model had a run of just 500. It's been well looked after during its life but before the unavoidable Mini rust took hold AM Restorations of Plympton (near Plymouth) were contracted for a body strip down and complete restoration.
