I wrote this song recently about getting ghosted by a guy that I thought I somewhat knew. I thought we were at least friends, especially since we hung out multiple times and talked about actual substantive things, but I guess I was wrong. I'm not actually upset about this, but in the moment I was a little in shock and just had to process it through this song. Once I finished this song though it's as if the small sting completely dissipated. I've just been treating all these strange situations as creative writing exercises and that's been really helpful for me.
