In this week's #TidyTuesday video, I go over a coffee rating dataset. I go over basic summary statistics using the summarise and across functions with Dplyr. Using the broom package, I show how to collect confidence intervals in a tidy format for plotting uses. I then go over the workflow of converting a basic notebook into a functioning dashboard. Using #shinydashboard, I create a basic dashboard allowing the user to filter by country to see flavor profiles for the coffee beans. I go over the basics of creating dashboards such as the Inputs and Outputs and explain some of the problems with #RShiny dashboards such as the many render and output functions.
