Trump Threatens Putin with 'Incredible Aggressor': Tomahawk Missiles for Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin, stating he is considering sending Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine if Russia fails to settle the ongoing conflict soon.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One yesterday (October 12), Trump described the US-made Tomahawk as an "incredible weapon" and "very offensive." He indicated that this powerful weapon, which is a "step up" from the Patriot systems, would be used to pressure Moscow by enabling Ukraine to strike deep inside Russian territory at key military bases, supply hubs, and command centers.

The President confirmed he discussed the need for additional weaponry with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a recent "very positive" phone call. Trump stressed he would tell Putin: "If this war is not going to get settled, I'm going to send them Tomahawks."

Russia has already voiced "extreme concern" over the potential delivery, with Putin previously warning that supplying the long-range missiles would mark a "new stage of escalation" and severely damage US-Russia relations.
