At last the little Petter is up and running with a few more finishing touches left to do. Starting it was proving to be a bit of a pig so I coupled it to my old WD2 workhorse and it started up in no time at all, just a simple case of having to learn where to set the mixture control.
Special thanks to Modus engineering in Langton Green who did a fine job of grinding the crank, and also to Alec Tiranti who supply bearing metal in small quantities.
