The ingredients are:
(1) Sheet of Puff Pastry
Canadian Bacon or Ham of your choice Deli style etc.
Swiss Cheese or any cheese of your choice
Dijon Mustard
Egg
All-purpose flour
Parsley Dried on top of Puff Pastry
Take (1) Sheet of Puff Pastry. Place some All-purpose flour on cutting board surface. Roll the Puff Pastry a little out. Do not over roll, it will stretch out too long and become too thin.
Cut into 4 squares or triangles which ever shape you prefer. Take Dijon Mustard or Spicy brown mustard or any mustard of your choice and place on pastry then add meat, cheese. then fold. Seal edges with a fork. Press down on the edges. Make sure you put slits onto the top of puff pastry just one with a paring knife.
Take egg and add a little water into a bowl. Brush onto pastry this will give it a golden-brown color. This meal very savory.
I fried the Canadian bacon a little, before adding to the pastry. You can cut the Canadian bacon to your preference. For example, slice, chunk. If you have deli Ham, you can just place whole slice of lunch meat and whole slice of cheese instead of shredding. This is very good.
