In this Physic video lecture in Hindi we explained some physical quantities very important in kinematics of Physics. At first we discussed about the concept of path length or distance travelled and hence we explained what displacement is. We saw that distance travelled or path length is a scaler quantity and displacement is a vector quantity. we also found that the magnitude of the displacement is, always, less than or equal to the path length. Then we discussed about the concept of and difference between the quanities average speed and average velocity in kinematics in Physics. Average speed of a particle is the path length traversed by that particle in unit time, whereas, average velocity is displacement in unit time. As displacement has a direction being a vector quantity, velocity has also a direction, hence it is vector quantity.
