You need to learn about variables, functions, classes, objects, conditional, methods, operators and how they work together.

Most tutorials that focus on programming will spend a significant amount of time teaching you the code syntax and that's important. But what you often don't learn about is how to think like a programmer.

Thinking like a programmer involves understanding what the problem is, breaking it down to its most basic parts and trying to come up with an effective solution.

If you want to have the programmers mindset, you need to think creatively. Learning the process of thinking like a coder takes time. It's not something you learn over night.

You have to practice daily, review other peoples code, try and come up with your own solution.

In time, thinking like a programmer will be second nature.
