For our final #OneMinuteWonder of the decade, we bring you the Fredric Effects Warp Sound EQ filter / distortion pedal for today's #PedalOfTheDay. This unique, one-of-a-kind pedal, is based on the rare '70s Vorg Warp Sound, with Fredric stating that they have recreated the same circuit in their modernised pedal.

Sounding rather like a cocked wah pedal, the Warp Sound is more than just a fixed envelope filter - the distortion element of the pedal can turn this sound into a slightly hairy gain, all the way up into biting, almost spatty fuzz territory! Into a clean amp, this has some attitude, but layer this onto an already dirty tone, and the possibilities are electrifying! The guitar used here was a Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Telecaster, and the amplifier is a Fender Blues Junior IV.
