LUMICKS's C-Trap combines fluorescence microscopy with single-molecule force spectroscopy, enabling researchers to examine virtually all aspects of dynamic biological processes. These applications include DNA replication and repair, protein and DNA/RNA unfolding, motor protein activity, cytoskeletal mechanics, and phase separation, to name a few. Although a recently commercialized technology based on Nobel Prize-winning technology, the C-Trap has recently been featured in publications such as Nature, PNAS, and Science.
