Its perhaps the nature's way to preserve its most beautiful treasures. That is the reason, that despite being just a few hundred metres away from the main road to Yamunotri, through which thousands of tourists pass daily during the Char Dham Yatra season, the Narad Falls gets barely a few dozen people daily, may be less. This place is not visible from the main road, and it still is not that popular among the tourists. More so, it is among the very few places that I have heard of, which have been dedicated to mythological saint Narad. The Narad Ganga river, on which this falls is located, is a tributary of Yamuna. There is hot spring nearby and it is always so fascinating to be at a place where streams of freezing water and boiling water are flowing side by side naturally.
