Hello friends!
This is the third installment in my zodiac series. This time I decided to block my colors in using transparent acrylics and a glazing medium before moving on to oil paint. This is helpful when painting on a larger canvas. It saves time because of the quick drying properties of acrylics.
Once I moved onto the oil paint, I worked with a palette of 5 colors; Quinacridone Red, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber, Raw Sienna, and Cadmium Yellow Light plus Titanium White.
Once that layer had dried, I was then able to ramp up the color saturation with some glazes.
